As an Abroadco Admissions Counselor, Cassandra is dedicated to providing students with the tools and information necessary to have the best possible experience abroad. “My passion for the French language and travel has led me to international education. I truly enjoy helping students prepare for their experiences abroad.”

Cassandra participated in an exchange in Paris, living with a French family in the summer of 2000. After hosting an exchange student her senior year in high school, she became passionate about international education. In 2005 she studied at l'Université Catholique de l'Ouest in Angers, France. Cassandra completed her undergraduate studies in French with a minor in Youth Administration at the University of Northern Iowa.

Before joining Abroadco, Cassandra began her career in international education as an intern and peer advisor at the University of Northern Iowa Study Abroad Center. There she advised students going to France and Canada and promoted international education through fairs and classroom presentations. She spent her summers working as a camp counselor and rock climbing instructor in Maine and also joined the crew of a cruise ship as an intern in the ship’s youth program.

Cassandra is a member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators and was a volunteer at the Region II conference.
