Advisors - Credit Transfer

We believe that education is the core of a quality study abroad experience. Abroadco only works with foreign institutions that are recognized by their home governments, except in a few cases, where we work with institutes that have been fully investigated and approved by an accredited U.S. university. Information is available in the About the Institution section for each program.

Official transcripts for all Abroadco programs come directly from the host university or the American university sponsor to the Abroadco U.S. Office. Once we have verified that the student is financially cleared of all outstanding charges, we send the official transcript, along with a cover letter, an explanation of the grading scale, and an unofficial translation of course titles, to the student’s home university for credit transfer. Course descriptions are available on-line; however, we will send you hard copies of the course descriptions upon request.

All Abroadco students are advised to visit their study abroad offices to make sure that they follow proper procedures for transfer credit on their campus. We provide students with basic information about transfer credit, including credits, course loads and grades, as well as grading scales and transcripts on our Transfer Credit pages.
