In the history of Europe, France often played a role that was as crucial as unexpected. From the Declaration of Schuman to the French refusing to ratify the European Constitution, from the crises under the presidency of General de Gaul to the signing of the treaty of Maastricht, from “leaving” NATO to the Iraqi crises, France has never stopped working, between independence and solidarity, to become an indisputable initiator of the European experience. It’s precisely this role that students will analyze in a way that the principle objective is to acquire a solid understanding to better learn the national and international events.
