Full DescriptionThe historic framework, to read a work of art, the great artists of modernism, painting, sculpting, architecture from the 15th to 17th centuries, architecture from the 18th century, the revival (1792-1804). The course creates a panorama of French art since the penetration of the Renaissance to the end of the former regime. After revisiting and questioning and methods specific to the critical approach to these works of art, the course will bring into the light the characteristics of each period and the French specificity of each of the three great artists in each of the disciplines (painting, sculpture and architecture). The town (in bus or car) Original Language DescriptionLe cadre historique – Lire une œuvre – Les grands courants de la modernité – La peinture – La sculpture – L’architecture du XVe au XVIIe siècle – L’architecture du XVIIIe siècle– Les arts du renouveau (1792-1804). Le cours brossera un panorama de l’art français depuis la pénétration de la Renaissance jusqu’à la fin de l’ancien régime. Après avoir rappelé les questionnements et méthodes spécifiques de l’approche critique des œuvres d’art, il s’attachera à mettre en lumière les caractéristiques de chaque période et les spécificités françaises de chaque grand courant dans les trois disciplines majeures (peinture, sculpture et architecture).
