Full Description

This new course will be a historical and artistic examination of the major works of music to be performed in Aix-en-Provence during the summer 2008 annual music festival in June and July. When the festival schedule is announced in January 2008, this description will be updated to include specific composers and works to be studied. Class presentations will prepare students for the performances they will attend. Students will also have the opportunity to discuss performances with musicians and conductors present at the festival. Limited Enrollment.
