Second semester: Contemporary storytellers

In this workshop, we show aspects of popular heritage in the form of the short story. We tackle certain grand themes across written and spoken stories. This study allows us to go from the Middle Ages to today, from popular stories to literature, from Alsace to Provence, and from Quebec to Africa.

Dans cet atelie, nous nous proposons de montrer quelques aspects de l'héritage populaire dans la forme du récit bref. Nous abordons certains grands thèmes du merveilleux à travers des versions transcrites de contes oraux. Cette étude nous permettra d'aller au Moyen-Age à notre époque, des contes populaires à la littérature, de l'Alsace à la Provence, et aussi du Québec à l'Afrique...
