Familiarizes students with the necessary questions and understandings to understand written texts.

Full Description

In their studies and exams in the French language, foreign students must often read and comment on various types of texts (argumentative, poetic, narrative, theatrical, etc.).

This course will familiarize students with the questions that they must think of asking, and with the understandings they must have to better understand and appreciate these texts. The analysis will therefore assume an in depth study of the language, style, forms and the themes of each text.

Dans leurs études et leurs examens en langue française (à l'IEFEE comme à l'Université) les étudiants étrangers auront souvent à lire et à commenter divers types de textes (argumentatif, poétique, narratif, théâtral...)

Ce cours doit familiariser les étudiants avec les questions qu'il faut penser à poser et avec connaissances qu'il faut mobiliser pour mieux comprendre et apprécier ces textes. L'analyse supposera donc une étude approfondie de la langue, du style, des formes et des thèmes de chaque texte.
