Full Description

What is a woman? Why and how does she write? What do women's writings say about the feminine condition? Is there a feminine literature?

Fall semester: Feminine myths, from prehistoric mythologies to religious myths and their expressions in stories and legends.

Spring semester: From the Middle Ages to the 20th century, this history of feminine claims, and the feminine battles and societies across literature.

Bibliographies will be provided during the course.

Qu'est-ce qu'une femme? Pourquoi et comment écrit-elle? Que disent les écrits des femmes sur la condition féminine? Existe-t-il une littérature féminine?

1er semestre : Les mythes féminins, des mythologies préhistoriques aux mythes réligieux et leurs expressions dans les contes et légendes.

2e semestre : Du Moyen-Age au XXe siècle, l'histoire des revendications féminines et des combats et des sociétés féministes à travers la littérature.

Les bibliographies seront communiquées pendant les cours.
