Beginner
French Language
Semester students who place into the Beginner language level take both Elementary French Language and Elementary French Phonetics. During the summer, students only enroll in the Elementary French Language course.
Electives
Beginner level semester students enroll in three of the available electives.
Low Intermediate
French Language
Semester students who place into the Intermediate language level take both Intermediate French Language and Intermediate Corrective Phonetics. In addition, students choose from either Translation or Writing Workshop for a total of 3 classes.
During the summer, students only enroll in the Intermediate French Language course.
Electives
Low Intermediate level students enroll in two of the available electives.
High Intermediate
French Language
Semester students take both High Intermediate French language and High Intermediate Corrective Phonetics. In addition, students choos from either Translation or Writing Workshop for a total of 3 classes.

Advanced
French Language
Semester students who place into the Advanced language level take both Advanced French Language and Advanced French Phonetics. In addition, students choose from either Translation or Writing Workshop for a total of 3 classes.
Summer students only enroll in the Advanced French Language class.

Advanced level semester students enroll in three of the available electives.
Superior
French Language
The Superior language level is only available during semester sessions. Students who place into the Superior language level take Advanced French Grammar and Expression.
Electives
Superior level semester students enroll in five of the available electives.
