Cristina Belenguer is a licensed tourist guide in Catalonia and a journalist. She is passionate about languages and cultural exchanges. She speaks English, French and German and is currently learning Italian. Cristina was born in Barcelona, where she received the University Degree in Journalism and Communications. However, she has also lived in Berlin and Helsinki. After having been working as a cultural journalist for several years and in marketing and communications, she decided to devote her time to guiding groups and developing new itineraries and programs in Barcelona, such as the literary ones or “The Movie Walking Tour in Barcelona”. She also works as an educator at museums and cultural centers in the city, as for instance the Picasso Museum, La Pedrera or La Sagrada Familia. Cristina loves Arts and especially the Modernism and the Gothic. History is also one of her passions. In 2008 she published the comic “El Rei Jaume I a Lleida” about the Middle Ages in Catalonia (Pagès Editors, 2008). One of her interests is learning new things and being always in touch with culture, that is why she also studied an Official Master Degree in Arts Management at the University of Barcelona. She has also started a Doctoral Program and a Second Master in Literature, Arts and Thought at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. If you walk down the streets of Barcelona, you can easily find her showing the secrets of the city. Cristina is looking forward to helping Abroadco's students make the most of their stay abroad. |
