About Cuernavaca: The capital of the state of Morelos, located 50 miles south of Mexico City, Cuernavaca is known as the city of eternal spring because of its consistent warm and sunny climate. This charming city attracts vacationing nationals as well as people from all over the world with its rich colonial history and striking scenery. The juxtaposition of ancient dwellings and modern way of life make Cuernavaca an ideal study abroad destination.
About the International University: The University began in 1980 as the Center for Linguistic & Multicultural Studies. The CLMS has since evolved into the Universidad Internacional in 1997. When it became the Universidad Internacional it became available to Mexican students as well as international students. The university is currently an approved degree-granting educational institution by the SubsecretarÃa de Educación del Estado de Morelos (Secretary of Education in Morelos).
Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have completed one year of college or university coursework.
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
