Summary

Beginning and advanced students will be introduced to the formal and technical issues of on-site drawing. Students will learn to accurately and creatively render from life. The class will address the challenges and benefits posed from working on-site. Taking advantage of the city of Florence and its environs students will work primarily on location in museums, gardens and other historic locations of interest. Student will be encourage to use a wide range of mark making tools including pencils, pens, markers, charcoal, conte, pastels, brushes and ink.
