Offered only in the second semester, this course offers an ample explanatory framework for the fundamental topics and questions of the Spanish economy, using an accurate and global image of the main economic micro-magnitudes, indicators and politics.

3. The Spanish industry divided into sectors of activity.- The agriculture and fishing sector.- The energy sector.- Industry and services: evolution and future perspectives.- An axis of economic expansion: Catalunya –Mediterranean.

Inflation and unemployment.- The concept of inflation and some needs.- Components of the consumer prices index in Spain: comparison with other Countries.- Salaries and the evolution of labour costs.- The concept of Unemployment. Assessment
Assessment is based on two written tests and work done throughout the course will also be taken into account.
