Language and Culture, Early Start

Students begin their semester with an intensive language course. The course meets 4 hours/day, 5 days/week. At the end of the course, students take a new placement exam to determine their appropriate level.

During the semester, students are required to take Speaking and Writing Skills and Spanish Grammar. In addition, students select 2 to 3 additional courses. With the exception of the Spanish courses, the electives are offered both in English and in Spanish. We stronly encourage you to enroll in the courses taught in Spanish at this level.
