OBJECTIVES
To be able to understand and use mathematical tools to comprehend processes and data in both a theoretical and experimental way, their interpretation, and eventually to analyze and design processes or procedures.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Study and analysis of problems that allow for a better understanding of mathematical principles and methods. This course is the continuation of Fundamentals of Mathematics I.
BIBLIOGRAPHY
To be provided.
METHODOLOGY
A general outline of the subject matter is developed, providing adequate reading to explore the subject matter in depth. The course proposes the adequate form of handling the analysis of mathematical processes, starting with the first principles.
EVALUATION
Ongoing assessment. The student will be evaluated periodically. These grades will represent 50% of the final grade. A final quarterly exam will represent the remaining 50%.
