Full DescriptionOBJECTIVES
To acquire a global, integrated understanding of immune response mechanisms to all kinds of pathogenic agents. To understand and differentiate commonly used terminology. To identify cells, molecules and organs participating in immune response. To interconnect adaptive and unspecific systems. COURSE DESCRIPTION For better understanding, the course is divided into chapters, each of which covers different concepts related to the immune system: molecules and cells responsible for the immune response, cells and tissues of the immune system, immunoglobulines, lymphocytes B and T, tolerance, hypersensitiveness and self-immunity.
