OBJECTIVES
Students will be given a complete overview of economics and will learn the main factors that determine economic behaviour. Students are taught the aims and policies of macroeconomics, and the concept of supply and demand. National accountancy is analyzed.

Model of determination of income in a closed economy.

METHODOLOGY
Theoretical and practical classes. Active participation and commitment, reports, essays and problem-solving in groups, and case studies.

EVALUATION
The final exam will account for most of the final grade. The professor will also evaluate the students’ oral participation and written reports.
