OBJECTIVES
Provide the students with a basic knowledge of the history of Spain between 1780 and 2005.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
1. The crisis of the Old Regime (1780-1830).
2. Liberal Spain (1830-1876).
3. The Spain of the Restoration (1876-1923).
4. The crisis of the Spanish liberal regime (1823-1939).
5. The Franco regime (1936-1975).
6. Transition and democracy (1975-2005).
