OBJECTIVES

 

For student to understand the mechanisms of synthesis, processing and ripening of nucleic acids and proteins.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

To know the mechanisms of synthesis and regulation of nucleic acids and proteins, and the cellular strategies for their processing and ripening.

Scientific publications with examples from the subject matter will be analysed. Relevant researchers will be invited to lecture.

EVALUATION

The final grade will be comprised of 60% of the grade from Metabolism Regulation and 40% of the grade from Biosynthesis of Macromolecules.
