To arouse students’ interest in the processes responsible for keeping a plant alive. To understand the concepts of growth, differentiation and morphogenesis and the role of vegetal hormones, as well as the plants’ response to environmental factors such as light, stress, etc. COURSE DESCRIPTION Studies the physiology of plants, trying to understand the biologic mechanisms through which the plant develops in the environment in which it lives. METHODOLOGY There will be theory classes, and practice classes in which the theory concepts will be applied. EVALUATION Ongoing evaluation of the concepts learned. The student’s attitude and class participation will be taken into account. There will be a final exam on the subject matter.
