OBJECTIVES To reinforce the knowledge acquired by students about the modern radio scene, the organization of radio stations, the concept of audience, the factors that determine radio programming and the work required of the producer in an audiovisual medium. COURSE DESCRIPTION Radio stations: distribution throughout Spain, organization chart and operation. Programming and programs: frequencies, scheduling, programming according to the radio genre. Preparing and producing programs: dramas, magazines, differences in radio genres. The work of the producer. BIBLIOGRAPHY FERNÁNDEZ ASÍS, V.: Radio: información y programas. RTVE. Santillana, 1977 METHODOLOGY Strong theoretical content which will be supported by listening to programs, research work, reviewing and by writing and producing a piece of work for radio. EVALUATION This will consist of an exam evaluating theoretical knowledge and a consideration of at least one piece of research work comparing different stations.
