Full Description

OBJECTIVES

To understand ethical terminology and its meaning when applied to a professional work situation. To critically analyze the ethical dimension of professional decisions and determine the general principles of professional moral conduct. To understand the codes of professional ethics and their requirements and to analyze and critically appraise human and professional conduct.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

After an introduction to the general principles of morality that provide the backbone of social reality and guide human conduct in society, students will go on to consider the moral aspects and specific problems caused by practising a profession, understood as the ethics of providing services to other people. (Focusing on the fields of: Legal-business, Bio-health, Communication and Engineering).
