OBJECTIVESTo give students a solid understand of the stock market and its place in the larger framework, the supervision of its operations, the agents who take part in it, the negotiation of assets, stock-market operations and the tools of analysis used.
COURSE DESCRIPTIONThe course identifies the stock market in the framework of the various financial markets, explains how they are regulated, describes primary and secondary stock markets and the role of intermediaries, and analyzes securities, operations and stock-market tools.

METHODOLOGYTheoretical explanations of the course material; discussion of real cases related to each topic. The professor will evaluate the students’ attitude and participation in class.
EVALUATIONThe students’ preparation for and discussion of the topics and practical cases, as well as their participation in the classes will account for 50% of the final grade; the exam will account for 50%.
