Full Description

OBJECTIVES
Students will acquire a general versatility in matters of finance. They will learn the basic notions of investment and financial markets both from the point of view of making a profit from one’s savings, and obtaining funding to buy goods or to carry out a project.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
To answer the financial questions that everyone asks: what are the implications of taking a loan, where to invest savings, which is the best mortgage, or how to evaluate the kinds of investment and funding involved in starting up a business.

METHODOLOGY
Combination of theoretical explanations and practical cases. The preparation, oral discussion and participation of the students in class will be highly valued by the professor.

EVALUATION
Participation in class, preparation and discussion of the topics: 50% of the final grade. Exam: 50%.
