Madrid, Spain - Academic Program - Language and Culture (LC)View course descriptions for the Language and Culture (LC) track. Available for one-month sessions in June, July, September, and January, students in the Language and Culture program take a Spanish language course at their appropriate level, a Culture and Civilization course, and a cinema workshop. The Spanish language course meets for 50 contact hours, worth three (3) semester credits. The Culture and Civilization course meets for a total of 42 hours, with 12 hours of guided visits to cultural sites in Madrid. This course is worth 2-3 semester credits.
