Full Description

This class sets out to align theoretical and practical aspects of documentary filmmaking. The theoretical work will enclose a summary of the history of documentary film and a discussion of important theoretical texts on documentary film. The practical part, which is taught by Ulrich Grimm, will focus on camera work, script development of documentary and editing. Examples of students' films will be discussed in class. Editing will be proceeded with Premiere.
