Full Description

The lecture introduces students to the development and the political system of the European Union. Among other things, it deals with the history of the integration process, theories of international politics and integration, the contractual and institutional foundations of European politics (European Governance), the European economic and social orders and the not- yet-mastered current challenges like expansion of the EU or its reform.

Lecture in German, tutorials in English.
