Full Description

The German language courses are taught by highly qualified instructors of German as a foreign language. You will find ideal language learning conditions in small groups. Classes are held in the mornings from 9:00 - 11:00 am. Three levels are offered:

  • The Basic Level is for beginners with little or no knowledge of German.
  • The Intermediate Level is for advanced students who wish to improve their solid understanding of basic German.
  • The Upper Level is for students who can speak and write German fluently.

In order to determine which group is best for each student, a short oral and written language test will be given on the first day of classes. You can be certain that you will be placed in a language course which is neither too difficult nor too easy for you.

The courses at the basic and intermediate level are designed to practice active written and oral German language skills, to improve grammar skills and to enlarge your vocabulary. Special instructional materials are made available to students.

The upper level courses will have content-oriented discussions on selected topics. Students` special interest will be considered in the courses.

Class sizes of no more than 15 students guarantee intensive learning experience.

Regular class attendance is mandatory in order to get credit.
