Full Description

Prerequisites:

Very good knowledge in using a computer, basic knowledge of Internet technologies

Content and Aims:

This course will introduce the basics of web publishing with regard to theoretical and practical aspects. Theoretical aspects are usability, basics in visual and text design, and technical basics among others. The practical part will introduce students to common web techniques, such as HTML, which are crucial for web publishing. It will also focus on alternative ways of publishing such as blogs, wikis, or further content management systems.
