The Italian Language and Culture class is offered both as an
intensive pre-session class and a semester course. Abroadco students
are required to take the pre-session course and can opt to take a
semester Italian class as well.
The Advanced Italian Language and Culture course is for students
with a good knowledge of Italian. The class is designed to provide the tools for spoken and written contexts so students' can operate in an increasingly wide range of typical situations in everyday and
university life, through classroom lessons and integrated project work.
The pre-session class meets for 50 contact hours. The semester course meets for 40 contact hours.
