The Italian Language and Culture class is offered both as an intensive pre-session class and a semester course. Abroadco students are required to take the pre-session course and can opt to take a semester Italian class as well.
The Beginning Italian Language and Culture course is for students with almost no knowledge of Italian. The class aims to give basic competence in Italian to use in typical situations in everyday and university life through classroom lessons and integrated project work.
The pre-session class meets for 50 contact hours. The semester course meets for 40 contact hours.
