Full Description

The aim of the course is to give students an overview and understanding of the business of art and antiques, which represents a $25 billion plus industry that employs hundreds of thousands of professionals in small and medium-sized businesses as well as in a number of large enterprises.

The course will address issues like:

·      Key elements that characterize the business of Art 

·      Main challenges that differentiate the business of art from the conventional business world

·      Political, sociological, cultural and ethical implications of art management.
