Studies individual artists such as David, Turner, Monet, and Picasso, as well as movements such as Romanticism, Impressionism, and Surrealism, stressing continuities beneath apparent differences of approach. Regular museum sessions in the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and the Centre Pompidou.
