Full Description

Examines the classification systems for abnormal behavior, and uses the DSM IV Multiaxial diagnostic system as the base for studying all currently recognized major diagnostic categories. Studies various theories about the development of these disorders, focusing on non-analytic theories (behavioral, cognitive, humanistic, biological). Reviews major psychological treatment modalities, particularly focusing on behavioral, cognitive, biological and other nonanalytic treatment methods.
