Discusses the UN role in peacekeeping, decolonization, refugees, social and health problems, trade and monetary policy, development, technology transfer, and UN reform as well as new developments in international organizations since the end of the Cold War.

Studies the origins, politics, structures, and impact of leading international organizations with particular focus on the United Nations group, specialized agencies, regional organizations, and international administration.
