Full Description

Overview and critical examination of the history, social effects and ethics of public relations. Emphasis on professional skill development, including writing press releases, speeches and fundraising letters. Analysis of public relations as a process, involving research, planning, communication and evaluation. In-class focus on professional case studies from business, non-profits and government, as well as international public relations and crisis management.
