About the American University of Paris: Founded in 1962, The American University of Paris (AUP) is the oldest American institution of higher learning in Europe. An independent college of liberal arts and sciences, AUP is accredited in the U.S. by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. AUP is an urban university, with six buildings centrally located in the seventh arrondissement of Paris, on the Left Bank, near the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. Like many urban American and European universities, the campus of AUP is spread throughout the area, mixing with the surrounding neighborhood. Among the many services and amenities AUP provides is a bookstore, computer labs, and library.

  • Have completed sophomore year of high school.
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
