Full Description

Aim of the Course

The course deals with business negotiations both in theory and practice. After explaining it in general, the course focuses on negotiations with intercultural background. Upon successful completion of this course, students will have a general idea about how do business negotiations work, how to plan them and how to lead them. They will be also aware of what differences and difficulties they can expect while having a business negotiation with partners from different cultures.

Negotiation theory (types and strategies)
Basic Principles of business negotiation
The role of culture in negotiation process
Aspects of Negotiation in Central and Eastern Europe
International business negotiation
Negotiation skills (theory and practice)
