General Information
About Rome: Italy’s capital, Rome has held a prominent place in world history for almost 3,000 years. The Eternal City offers visitors and residents magnificent ancient monuments, quaint piazzas, incredible museums and gardens, mouth-watering cuisine, with the indefinable Roman style throughout. Rome is Italy’s largest city, but with its neighborhoods it feels smaller. Discover the local hangouts in different neighborhoods, stroll through the piazzas, visit the open air markets, and make sure not to forget a trip to Vatican City to see the artwork and treasures in St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican museums. Rome is an ideal place for students who are interested in Western history and culture, and who at the same time, want to have fun. Rome’s varied entertainment options provide a never-ending source of both day and evening activities.
About the Link Campus, University of Malta: The University of Malta established their Link Campus in Rome to provide Italian and other international students with the opportunity to take courses in English and participate in work and internship experiences to prepare them for the global society in which we live. Link Campus, founded in 1998, is in an area of Rome that is a university hub with many academic institutions nearby.
