Study Abroad in Rome, Italy - Academic ProgramAbroadco offers academic year, semester, and summer options in Rome. All courses are taken at Link Campus, University of Malta. Students will begin their semester with two month-long courses in Intensive Italian and Italian Culture, each worth three semester credits. Italian language is taught at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Following this intensive month, students will select three courses that will be taught over the following 14 weeks. These courses will be taught in English. All courses are worth three semester credits. If a student has a high degree of proficiency in Italian, that student may opt to take courses taught in Italian. This option is available only for students studying for the entire academic or spring semester. Course offerings taught in English include accounting, art history, business, political science, marketing, economics, and Italian language. Summer program students will take an Italian class, along with an elective in English. Students can choose between Art of Rome and European Union Studies as their elective.
