This course will deal with those aspects of Spanish grammar which, because of their communicative use, relative singularity and, for certain cases, special difficulty, must be considered as basic. The fundamental aim of the course is to provide the student, on the one hand, with sufficiently thorough descriptions to be able to start learning specialized knowledge of Spanish grammar, and, on the other hand, through classroom activities, these descriptions, contemplated from a functional perspective, should be used to develop the student’s communicative skills in the Spanish language. Activities Given that one of the fundamental aims of this course is to favor the effective productive and functionally adequate application of the grammatical resources dealt with in the communicative use of the language, activities and exercises will be carried out in class which enable the student not only to consciously capture the considered aspects of grammar, but also to use them automatically in communicative tasks. Assessment A final exam and a mid-term exam will be set. The content of the exam will be suited to the types of knowledge (descriptive and operative) that the student is hoped to acquire. Conscious and explicit recognition of the forms and structures studied and productive application suitable to the corresponding functional and communicative contexts. This subject covers those aspects of Spanish grammar which, by their communicative yield, their relative singularity, and, for some cases, their special difficulty, must be considered basic. The main target of the subjet is that the students arrange, on the one hand, of sufficiently rigorous descriptions like beginning in the specialized knowledge of the grammar of Spanish, and, by another one, that, through the proposed activities in class, such descriptions, that they will consider from a functional perspective, serve to develop the comunicative skills of the students of the Spanish language.
Since one of the general missions of the subject is to favor the effective application, productive and functionally adapted of the grammar resources treated in the communicative use of the language, activities and exercises in class will be carried out that facilitate not only the conscious apprehension of the considered aspects of the grammar, but also their automatization in comunicative tasks.
A final examination and one orientative partisan will be carried out to half of the course. The"ítemes" of the tests will adjust both to types of knowledge (descriptive and operative) that hopes that they will acquire the students. Conscious and explicit recognition of the forms and studied structures and suitable productive application to corresponding the functional and communicative contexts.
