Explores reflective relations between critical philosophy and world politics. Develops globalization in terms of planetary capitalism and political liberalism and suggests how philosophy can help promote, in response to economic and political liberalism, the construction of world polity. Focuses on questions of justice, law and force in the context of universal institution: that is, world sovereignty without world force.
