Offers a systematic analysis of human resource concepts and practices designed to enhance organizational objectives and employee goals. Studies various aspects of the employment relationship: job design, staffing, employee training and development, diversity management, performance evaluation, compensation and salary administration, employee and labor relations, and collective bargaining. Examines contemporary and emerging resource systems and models found in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
