What kind of Europe emerges - as a power-pole, or as a looser political and economic space - will be partly determined by which “idea of Europe” eventually dominates. Students will gain insight into how big and small countries conceptualize Europe, with particular attention to Russian, French, Central European, UK, and US viewpoints.
